How they are worked - I trace off each design onto cold water dissolvable muslin (cold water aquafilm), then sew a whipped running stitch in a perle thread over the design in a contrast colour or gold thread . Once I have completed my SRE work, they are then assembled into handbag mirrors purchased from Framecraft (www.framecraft.com), the work must be flattish and not very raised (no beads), as it will be squashed flat when you have covered it with the plastic provided to protect the design.
