Historical Embroidered Designs
The designs below are an interpretation of work by the English designer John Leighton 1822-1912, a Fellow of the Society of Art. His work was first published in 1881 as an aid to fellow craftsmen, he was well known for his award winning ornamental and decorative designs.
All designs are painted by me and hand embroidered on silk fabric and are my original work, I have hand dyed many of the silk threads used on these projects making them totally original.
